What a treat it was to have the author of The Sky of Red Poppies and the Moon Daughter as our special guest for an different kind of book club meeting on June 26.
Having finished Moon Daughter, I can report it is a different book but every bit as powerful and emotional. I can visualize Zoe typing the last few pages with tears streaming down her cheeks just as they were streaming down mine, endangering the pristine condition of my autographed copy!
Zoe's debut novel was not a fluke. She has established herself as solid legitimate author, one that it is only a matter of time before the rest of the reading world discovers her. Then we can say, "we knew her when...
Place her books at the very top of your reading list and do not delay in beginning.
